Graphs and tables are a key tool in presenting research findings. The ability to mobilize these tools, in order to help convey a clear story of the research and its findings, is often crucial in the response that an article or lecture can receive from those who judge them. A series of important but simple to understand and apply principles can bring complex and unreadable numbers to a clear mirror of research and knowledge.

The workshop is intended for academics in order to establish principles in the creation of graphs and data tables, for both aesthetic and communicative outcome, and for use as a tool in the successful transmission of the research narrative.
