Beyond the Text:
MS Word and text design
Text is a major tool in academia, whether in writing research papers or research proposals, lesson plans, CVs and more. Most of us use MS Word to create these documents. At the same time, as creators of visual texts intended for reading, most academics pay no attention to the design aspect of the document they are creating, and do not know most of the technical capabilities of the word processor they are using. The workshop will introduce design principles of designing a legible text document, working properly with the MS Word, and tips and recommendations for designing and arranging a CV.
The workshop is intended for academics in order to establish principles in creating a visual text that is comfortable and pleasant to read, to introduce participants to the tools and processes of proper work in MS Word, and to improve the capabilities of presenting a CV document.
